D Form Civil were engaged for the structural works for the new TX yard in Yan Yean Pump station along with the install of the conduits for the site. These works were part of an upgrade to the Water treatment plant with the construction of a new pump station. 

Our team were commissioned to complete the structural scope of constructing new Transformer, Auxiliary Transformer and Capacitor Bank Footings and all of the earthworks required. Additionally to this there was the installation of the associated conduit network including precast concrete pits, and over 1200m of electrical conduit. Over the course of the project D Form was tasked with completing additional works including installation of PVC and Ductile Iron drainage systems, additional footings, bollards and footpaths. 

Works were completed on time despite the challenges faced as there were other civil contractors on site completing separate scopes of works. This created the need to implement change management to our schedule to ensure continuity of our own teams works.
