D Form Civil were engaged by Downer as part of series of upgrades in the existing United Energy Zone Substation in East Malvern. The Scope of Works included:

• Construction of new Transformer Enclosure including bund and precast wall
• Construction of new Hardstand Area
• Installation of new oily water drainage system
• New HV & LV Conduits 
• 66kV Switchyard Footings
• Demolition of existing Transformer Slab and Firewalls

The crew worked tirelessly to deliver these works in a confined environment, overcoming adverse weather conditions and existing service clashes.
